On 19 February 2011, a Matrix Recovery Service client phoned in at about 18:41 to report the theft of his Tata Indica. He had parked his vehicle at about 16:00 and noted that it was still there around 16:50. However, at 18:20 when he went to inspect the vehicle, he realised it was gone.
The vehicle was stolen in Sinoville, Pretoria. Matrix Recovery Service was requested to dispatch at 18:42, while a lookout was placed with the SAPS. The vehicle was positioning in Soshanguve, and remained stationary. Matrix Recovery Service recovered the vehicle at 20:45 in Soshanguve. Two suspects were also arrested and the suspect’s vehicle that was used was also apprehended. Matrix Recovery Service stood down at 21:55 after handing the vehicle over to a member of the SAPS.
