Delayed report of hijacking incident but vehicle still found

Early in the evening a Matrix Vehicle Tracking’s customer’s son was hijacked in Dobsonville. She immediately contacted the National Operations Centre when she heard of the incident. It was confirmed by the Matrix Vehicle Tracking National Operations Centre that the hijacking actually took place in Braamfischerville, Soweto at 7:00 in the morning. He stated that he was dropped off somewhere in Standerton, and he had to make his way back.
The vehicle was recovered in Daggaskraal, Mpumalanga and was in an accident with nobody nearby. The vehicle was rolled. The vehicle and the scene was handed over to the Amerfoort SAPS for further investigation into the incident.
