Fleet vehicle quickly recovered after hijacking by matrix Recovery Services

When the fleet manager could not make contact with a driver and his assistant, he raised the alarm at the MiX Telematics National Operations Centre. The Matrix Recovery Services were dispatched to recover the vehicle.
Within a short time the vehicle was recovered in Mamelodi. After the recovery it was confirmed that the vehicle was hijacked and the driver and his assistant were dropped off next to the road. The vehicle was handed over to the Pretoria dog unit for further investigation into the incident.
