GeoLoc alarm saves the day when vehicle moved without authorisation

A GeoLoc violation came through to the Matrix Vehicle Tracking National Operations Centre indicating that a vehicle was moved from its locked GPS co-ordinates in Lenasia. The agent contacted the owner of the vehicle who confirmed that the vehicle was not there anymore so it had been stolen. He was not sure when the vehicle disappeared. The Matrix Vehicle Tracking National Operations Centre dispatched the recovery teams to recover the stolen vehicle.
Within a short time period the vehicle was recovered in Lenasia by the Matrix Vehicle Tracking ground recovery team. It was confirmed that there were suspects fleeing from the scene where the vehicle was recovered. The SAPS was called in to assist to search for the suspects but they got away.
This is just another example of how the GeoLoc feature of the Matrix Vehicle Tracking units can save the day and in some cases we will know that your vehicle was stolen before you do.
