Hijacked at Petrol Station

On the evening of 29 January 2011, while at a petrol station, a Matrix Recovery Service client was approached by two armed men. The men took possession of his VW Golf and fled.
The gentleman immediately phoned his father who contacted the Matrix Recovery 24 hour Operations Centre. On assessment of the situation, Matrix Recovery Service team was immediately dispatched, while a lookout was placed with the SAPS.
The vehicle was positioning in Waterval, Sandton and remained stationary for the full course of the recovery. Matrix Recovery Service recovered the vehicle at 23:25 in Waterval, Sandton and stood down at 00:25 after handing the vehicle over to the SAPS.
