Hijacked vehicle quickly recovered in Bloemfontein

The Matrix Vehicle Tracking National Operations Centre received a call to inform them that a vehicle was hijacked in Bloemfontein by three armed men. The signal from the vehicle indicated that it was on the highway as the Matrix Vehicle Tracking recovery teams were dispatched. The customer confirmed that he was with the driver of the hijacked vehicle and he was not injured.
The recovery teams recovered the vehicle fitted with the Matrix Vehicle Tracking unit on the highway abandoned with the keys still in the ignition. The vehicle was handed over to the Bloemfontein Flying Squad for investigation into the hijacking.
