Hijacked Vehicle Recovered

A representative from the SAPS called in at about 19:37, to report that a VW Citi Golf had just been hijacked in Mamelodi, Pretoria. The Matrix client and 1 other occupant were taken along and dropped off on the Soweto Highway near Booysens, Johannesburg.
Upon release, the one suspect shot the client in his arm. They managed to get to the Booysens SAPS to report the incident and medical assistance was arranged for the client.
Matrix Recovery Service was requested to dispatch ground and air at 19:39. The vehicle was positioning in Johannesburg CBD, and moved to arshalltown, Johannesburg. A lookout was placed with the SAPS.
Matrix recovered the vehicle at 20:10 in Marshalltown, Johannesburg. The vehicle was found abandoned and unlocked with no damages. Matrix Recovery Service stood down at 21:35, after handing the vehicle over to a member of the SAPS.
