Hijacked Vehicle Returned Safely to Owner

A Matrix Recovery Service client called in at about 06:20 on the morning of 7 September. His phone call was regarding his Nissan UD 35 that had been hi-jacked moments earlier in Kagiso, Krugersdorp. Apparently his driver and his assistant, who were present during the hijacking, were locked in the back of the vehicle, but somehow managed to escape and inform him of the hijacking.
Matrix Recovery Service immediately alerted their recovery team to dispatch, while a lookout was placed wit the Gauteng flying squad. The vehicle was positioning in Doornkop, Roodepoort South, and moved to Zwaneville, Kagiso. Matrix Recovery Service recovered the vehicle at 08:52 in Zwaneville, Kagiso and stood down at 09:45 after handing the vehicle over to a member of the SAPS.
