Incident: Accident

The Matrix Vehicle Tracking National Operations Centre received an impact alarm from a corporate customers' vehicle. Immediately the situation was evaluated to establish what type of assistance was necessary.

 

The Matrix Vehicle Tracking and the Matrix Vehicle Tracking SOS partner could not make contact with the driver of the vehicle and the emergency services was immediately dispatched to the scene of the incident on the position of the vehicle.

 

Upon arriving at the scene of the incident it was confirmed that the Matrix Vehicle Tracking customer was involved in an accident but did not need any medical attention. The emergency services were ready and on the scene as per standard procedure to ensure the Matrix Vehicle Tracking customer could be assisted within the ‘golden hour’ after an accident to ensure survival in an serious accident and a faster recovery time after the accident if there was any injuries.

 

This proves again how the Matrix Vehicle Tracking unit can speak for you when you can’t and can save a life. Matrix Vehicle Tracking dispatched a tow truck to the scene.  The vehicle was towed away from the scene of the incident to a safe location ensuring the vehicle does not cause any further and unnecessary traffic congestion.
