Panic Button alarm leads to the retrieval of a Hijacked vehicle

On the 1 July 2010 at 22:26, a Mercedes GL Class was hijacked in Krugersdorp, Gauteng. Unaware of the Hijacking, the owner of the vehicle received a call from Matrix Recovery Service to say that a panic alarm from the vehicle in question had been received. The client immediately called the driver of this vehicle to confirm the situation. On investigation, it was found that the Mercedes had indeed been hijacked and Matrix Recovery Service was requested to dispatch immediately, while a lookout was placed with the SAPS. The vehicle was positioning in Lanseria, Mogale City and the Matrix Recovery Service, using its state-of-the-art technology, recovered the vehicle and handed it over to a member of SAPS to return to the client.
