Suspect vehicle recovered with hijacked vehicle by Matrix Recovery Services

The MiX Telematics National Operations Center was informed that there was suspicion that a fleet vehicle was hijacked. The Matrix Recovery Services were dispatched to search for the vehicle and two suspects’ vehicles, a black BMW and a white VW Caddy.
The vehicle was recovered abandoned in Bronkhorstspruit and soon thereafter the suspect white VW Caddy was also recovered. The suspects managed to escape. The vehicles were handed over to the Bronkhorstspruit police for further investigation into the incident.
