Suspects drive off with the wrong vehicle, Matrix Recovery Services got the car back

As a MiX Telematics customer came out of the doctor's room, she saw her vehicle being driven off by two suspects and a third following in VW Polo with a t-shirt covering the number plate of the vehicle. She immediately notified the National Operations Centre and the Matrix Recovery Services were dispatched.
The stolen vehicle was recovered in Moseleke East, Katlhong. The helicopter had a visual on a possible suspect and was directing the ground recovery team towards the suspect. Upon investigation, it was confirmed it was not a suspect. The vehicle was handed over to the Katlehong police for further investigation into the theft of the vehicle.
