Truck hijacked quickly recovered by Matrix Recovery Services

An employee called into the MiX Telematics National Operations Centre to report that one of their trucks has been hijacked but not many details were available. The Matrix Recovery Services were immediately dispatched to recover the stolen truck.
It was later confirmed that the driver was robbed by three suspects with a firearm and they took cell phones and cash. The driver was unharmed and safe. The recovered vehicle was handed over to the Umlazi police to investigate the incident.
