Vehicle Recovered after House Robbery

On 23 May 2011, a Matrix Recovery Service client and his family were confronted by 4 armed suspects carrying guns, at their home in Vaalpark, Sasolburg. The suspects took some household goods and fled with the client’s Jeep Cheerokee. As soon as the client had a chance and it was safe to do so, he called the Matrix 24 hour call centre to report the incident, which had taken place approximately 1 hour earlier at 21:30.
Matrix Recovery Service was requested to dispatch ground and air immediately, while a lookout was placed with the SAPS flying squad. The Jeep was positioning in Eden Park, Alberton, and moved to Moleleki, Katlehong, where Matrix Recovery Service recovered the vehicle at 23:28.
The vehicle was found abandoned with no damages. Matrix Recovery Service took off at 22:42 after handing the vehicle over to a member of the SAPS.
