Vehicle Safely Returned to Owner

On 13 February 2011, the Matrix Recovery Service National Operations Centre received a GeoLoc violation from a client’s Ford Bantam. The Matrix Recovery Service client was immediately notified and upon investigation the client confirmed that the vehicle was missing.
The vehicle was stolen in Krugersdorp, West Rand. Matrix Recovery Service was requested to dispatch at 02:35. The vehicle was positioning in Randfontein and remained stationary. Matrix Recovery Service recovered the vehicle at 03:33 at the Randfontein police station. The client's worker took the vehicle without consent and was arrested with drinking and driving. Matrix Recovery Service stood down at 03:55 after leaving the vehicle on the scene at the police station.
