Odo (mileage) reporting

The on-board computer has it's own mileage counter that accurately records and reports on distances travelled by vehicles within the fleet. This information is presented through trip reports or published via a secure push web service

Integration into back-end systems

Secure SDKs (software development kits) provide data such as odometer data to third party systems on a push or pull basis, enabling integration of MiX Telematics' systems with clients systems (e.g. billing, financial, route planning)

Trip reports

Trip reports provide insight into the journeys undertaken by drivers, highlighting exceptions (e.g. entry into no-go zones), driving violations (e.g. over speeding) and include detail such as trip start date and time, location from which departed, trip distance, end location, driving time, idling time, parking time, associated driver, etc.

Driver Identification using Blue Driver Code-Plug

The blue driver code-plug, commonly known as the driver tag, is used to control/restrict vehicle access and identify drivers to the vehicle. By using the driver tag you can ensure that each trip undertaken has a driver associated with it.
