For those customers who choose not to invest in a Garmin Personal Navigation Device, MiX Telematics offers the FM Terminal for messaging and the FM Voice Kit for voice communication. By using the GSM modem built-in to the FM Communicator, customers save on communication costs and ensure better efficiency and control.

The FM Communicator combined with the FM Terminal and/or FM Voice Kit provides customers with the following useful features:

send free-text messages from the office to the driver and vice versa
send canned messages from the office to the driver and vice versa
enable office to call the driver on the in-cab voice kit
enable the driver to call up to 4 pre-defined numbers on the FM KeyPad (e.g. Office, Home, Emergency, Breakdown)
