Internal Vacancy: Call Centre Agent
MiX Telematics has a vacancy for a Call Centre Agents who will report directly into a Junior Manager. The position is an established one and has only become available due to an internal transfer.
The candidate will be expected to provide a world class service to all customers and clients. This will include ensuring all alarms are attended to within the agreed SLA (Service Level Agreement) and that all compliance in terms of Standard Operating Procedure is adhered to.
Responsibilities
The person will need to:
- Ensure Customer Satisfaction by ensuring that every alarm is attended to and that SOP procedure is conformed to.
- Be performance and process driven, with a solution orientation and ultimate aim of marketing products to ensure constant growth opportunities.
They will do this through:
- Compliance to telephone technique standards. Handling of all calls to be done in a professional manner, with a key focus on customer delight.
- All alarms are to be handled within set Service levels.
- Dealing with alarms, ensuring that the SOP is conformed to.
- Ensuring that all external incoming calls are answered.
Must have requirements include:
- Matriculation
- Customer Service experience and background of approximately 1 year depending on the individuals background is critical.
- Problem solving, analytical ability and client interaction is highly valued.
- Communication skills, timekeeping, being a team player and an enthusiastic approach are all competencies required.

Internal Vacancy: Scrum Master
MiX Telematics has a vacancy for an Information Technology Scrum Master, who will report directly into the Development Manager. The position will be based in Midrand.
The candidate will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the outsource development teams.
Responsibilities
The person will need to do:
- Be scrum master for 3 outsource teams.
- Ensure scrum process is followed during the sprint and to ensure the scrum mythology is being followed inside the organisation.
- Remove impediments the team may face and ensure they can operate as efficiently as possible and are as self-organising as possible.
They will do this through:
- Maintaining task boards during sprint.
- Arranging sprint ceremonies, including venue and facilities.
- Organising weekly sprint progress reports.
- Assisting product owner with backlog management.
- Assisting product owner to ensure team know the vision and goal of product.
- Coaching development team about scrum.
- Ad-hoc project management that falls outside scrum teams.
- Other duties as required
Must have requirements include:
- Matriculation
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant Diploma
- Certified Scrum Master
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle
- Understanding of agile software development methodologies, values, and procedures
- Software development project management experience.
- Good and clear communication skills.
- Experience in SOA and telecommunications and outsourced teams.
- Good Facilitator Skills
